The Prime Minister of Bunyoro Kitara Rt. Hon Andrew Byakutaga has urged all people in Bunyoro region to participate in the LC1 elections.
In a statement he issued this evening, Rt Hon Byakutaga indicated that local council leaders are important in the governance structure of the country.
He urged people to vote leaders of their choice in a free, fair and transparent manner.
He asked the electoral commission, the voters and candidates to ensure that the elections are peaceful.
He wished all candidates luck in their ambitions.
