BKK officials are meeting a team from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.
The meeting is focusing on how local communities should benefit from mineral resources.
The Ministry of Energy team is led by Eng. Joseph Okedi, Assistant Commissioner of Mining. BKK team led by Rt. Hon Apollo John Rwamparo, the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism.
Hon. Jackson Byaruhanga, the BKK Minister of Natural Resources is in attendance.
Others in attendance are the BKK Tourism officer Mr. Kasagama Abdul, Mr. Byaruhanga Robert, the BKK Oil and Gas manager, Mr. Kiiza Dennis, the BKK Legal Assistant, and Owek. Atuha Moses, the Clerk to Parliament.
