In February this year, the Government signed a Final Investment Decision (FID) with oil companies.
The agreements committed resources required to kick start commercial oil production.
The people of Bunyoro who are hosting the oil resources want to know how best they can tap the opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
As part of the several interventions being done by Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom to empower communities to benefit from oil, Kingdom officials have started community training to give them information and strategies for tapping oil benefits.
The training is spearheaded by the BKK Ministry of Investment.
Today, we shall have a talk show on 89.9 Spice FM from 7-8 PM.
The training will be conducted in each district of Bunyoro and our city (Hoima).
