Members of Parliament from Bunyoro who are under the Bunyoro Parliamentary caucus have contributed 11.3 million shillings towards the Commemoration of the 29th coronation anniversary of His Royal Majesty Dr Solomon Gafabusa Iguru I, the Omukama of Bunyoro-Kitara.
The Vice Chairperson of the Bunyoro Parliamentary caucus Hon. Harriet Businge Mugenyi this evening delivered 9.3 million shillings at BKK.
Speaking on behalf of the MPs, Hon. Businge appreciated BKK for the development programs and requested the Kingdom to intensify more programs aimed at promoting peace, unity and household incomes.
She handed over the cash to Rt. Hon. Nyendwoha Mutiti, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture.
Yesterday, the Hoima City East Division Member of Parliament Hon. Dr. Mwesigwa Patrick Isingoma Obama delivered his contribution towards the Kingdom celebration.
The money was delivered to the Kingdom by a team of Dr. Obama’s coordinators and mobilizers who were led by Mr Jim Kamugisa, the Kicwamba-1 LCI Chairman.
Dr. Obama expressed readiness to support more Kingdom programs and appreciated the cooperation the Kingdom has with the people of Hoima East division and the rest of Bunyoro.
Rt. Hon. Mutiti hailed the MPs for loving and supporting the Kingdom.
