Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom officials last evening hosted a delegation of investors from Tottenham, United Kingdom.
The delegation was led by Marcus Constantine, the Director of Xanda Ltd.
The delegation included Will Symon Head of Partnership Development Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The BKK team was led by Rt. Hon. Apollo John Rwamparo, the Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism.
The delegation discussed with Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom and Kitara Football Club possible areas of partnership and collaboration.
The team discussed how to promote Soccer in the region with the possibility of establishing a soccer academy, exchange programs especially for coaches, and footballers, and training in soccer and sports managers among others.
The delegation expressed their willingness to partner with BKK to conserve culture, heritage, and the environment.
The team visited Hoima International Airport where they were told that the Airport is nearly 70% complete and will be ready for handover to the government Feb 2023.
The delegation also attended a training session at Kitara Football Club.
