The meeting was attended by the Banyoro from within the Kingdom and the diaspora, government ministers, Members of Parliament, district leaders among others. It was held under the theme, “Time is now for Bunyoro to be great again.
During the symposium, a number of resolutions aimed at stabilizing the kingdom once and for all, were reached. Key of the resolutions was formation of a legal task force to handle the Kingdom’s legal issues, security of tenure for appointed kingdom servants, putting in place a kingdom constitution and institution of new plans and systems to ensure proper accountability.
