Buganda Royals pay homage to their Ancestral Origin

On 6th May 2016, our grandchildren from Buganda returned home to pay homage to their ancestral origin. They were welcomed at Karuziika Royal Palace where they were taken directly to their ancestral House (Shrine) “Kyakato” by Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom Kabonerwa Owek. Nyorano Ashraf Mugenyi. The shrine (Kyakato) is a symbolic shrine always maintained in Bunyoro Palace where Buganda Kingdom founder Omubiito Kato Kimera used to reside before rebelling against his brother Omukama Isingoma Rukiidi Mpuga, the first King in the line of Biito Dynasty which rules Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom todate.
